Unlike our Boa Blackbelly steel bearings, these are made of silicon nitride – a lightweight ceramic material that is known for its high strength, low friction, and resistance to corrosion. This makes silicon nitride ideal for use in bearings, as it can help to reduce wear and tear and extend the lifespan of the bearing.
They feature inbuilt spacers and speedrings that help to improve the performance of the bearing by reducing friction and keeping the balls aligned. They are also filled with our industrial nano-ceramic grease, which helps to keep the bearing running smoothly and prolong its lifespan.
These bearings are based on our years of experience making high-quality bearings and have been tested by thousands of riders worldwide.
