Don't let its size fool you—the YOW Vermont 28.5" Complete Surfskate packs all the flow, carving ability, and surf-inspired fun of a full-sized surfskate into an incredibly compact and lightweight package.

Hand-assembled by the team at Skatebruh, this custom setup is perfect for riders who want the surfy feel of a surfskate without the bulk and weight typically associated with traditional surfskate setups. At just 28.5 inches long, the Vermont is easy to carry, easy to store, and agile enough to weave through crowded streets, making it the ideal companion for urban adventures, quick cruises, and spontaneous surf sessions on land.

At the core of this build is the YOW Vermont 28.5" deck, featuring a compact cruiser-inspired shape that feels playful and responsive underfoot. The shorter wheelbase allows for tighter turns and quicker reactions, while the wider platform provides plenty of comfort and control when carving hard.

The Vermont is paired with YOW Legasee Trucks, a unique bushing-based surfskate truck system designed to deliver a surf-inspired riding experience without the complexity of spring-based systems. Because they rely on traditional bushings rather than springs, the Legasee trucks are lighter, simpler, and significantly easier to maintain. With fewer moving parts, riders can spend less time tuning and servicing their trucks and more time skating. The result is a ride that feels fluid, surfy, and intuitive while maintaining the stability and predictability that many riders love.

Rolling beneath the setup are the tried-and-tested Globe 58mm 88A Bruiser Wheels. These wheels are known for their versatility, offering a fast and responsive ride with excellent durability. Their compact size keeps the setup lightweight and nimble, while the 88A urethane strikes a balance between grip and slide, making them equally comfortable on smooth pavements, skateparks, and city streets.

To keep everything rolling smoothly, we've fitted the setup with SKBH ABEC 7 Core Bearings with spacers, providing smooth acceleration, consistent speed, and improved bearing alignment for a more efficient ride.

Size Guide

Picking the right skateboard is all about checking out its size, especially how wide it is. The width really makes a difference in how comfy you feel cruising and pulling off tricks. Go too wide, and those quick flips might get tricky; go too narrow, and turning and carving can be a bit of a challenge. So, figuring out the perfect skateboard size that fits your style is key as you kick off your skating journey with us!

Skaters who are into flip tricks and technical moves usually dig boards on the narrower side, like around 7.75 to 8.25 inches. It's all about those lighter weights and quicker spins.

Now, if you're all about big bowls, handrails, or sending it down huge gaps and stairs, you might want to look for a wider board, like 8.25 to 9.0 inches. Wider decks bring that comfy and stable feel, perfect for cruising and getting around. But hey, keep in mind, these wider ones are a bit heavier and won't spin as fast when you're pulling off tricks.

And for the little shredders just starting out, a smaller deck in the 7.0 to 7.5-inch range is the way to roll.
